Jeramy Hope

I’m Jeramy Hope—a chief executive, board director, disability advocate, husband and father of four. For more than 25 years, I’ve worked across disability, housing, human services and the not-for-profit sector, leading organisations and helping shape policy and systems that affect people’s everyday lives. As CEO of the SDA Alliance, I work to strengthen specialist disability accommodation and advance housing that supports choice, independence and belonging. My perspective is also personal. Living with Functional Neurological Disorder has deepened my understanding of disability, uncertainty and the importance of being heard. That experience informs how I lead, advocate and connect with others. I’m passionate about developing leaders, lifelong learning and bringing people together to turn shared purpose into practical change. Here, I share reflections on leadership, disability, housing, systems reform and living a full and meaningful life.
